The problem

Extra material gets thrown away because no site can see what others have.

  • 31,288 twaste diverted in FY2025, a 69% diversion rateSime Darby Property. Limit: Group-level totals. They say nothing about usable surplus at site level, which we have not validated with SDP.
  • 75 sitessharing surplus in one in-house exchange, over 2,000 transactionsGS Engineering & Construction, Korea. Limit: Construction materials were only about 6% of transactions; site supplies and safety equipment dominated. Overseas context.
  • 43%saving on one trial project that reused surplus topsoilPersimmon, United Kingdom. Limit: A single project, reported by the vendor and trade press. Not independently verified.
  • 60 practitionersin Peninsular Malaysia ranked over-ordering a highly important cause of wasteZainon and colleagues, University of Malaya. Limit: A small survey of perceptions, not measured site quantities.

How it works

One simple loop across every township.

  1. Step 1: Forecast

Compare what each phase ordered with what its plans need. The gap is likely surplus.

  2. Step 2: Check before you buy

Buyers see surplus coming from nearby sites and order only the rest.

  3. Step 3: Confirm by photo

When the phase ends, the engineer snaps what is left. A person confirms the count.

  4. Step 4: Transfer and measure

Material moves between sites. Savings and tonnes are tracked.

Surplus Radar

It works before the surplus even exists.

Radar reads purchase plans, so the next site can order less in the first place. Every number shows its working.

Where AI is used

AI helps. Code calculates. People decide.

AI suggests

Reads surplus photos and plain-language requests, and writes short summaries.

Code calculates

Forecasts, matches and savings are plain arithmetic you can check.

People approve

Every hold, match and transfer needs a person. Nothing is ordered automatically.

Every AI feature shows a Live AI or Demo mode badge.

Who it is for

One habit, three roles.

Any developer, contractor or township in Malaysia. These roles are our assumption; we have not interviewed site teams yet.

Site engineer

Logs leftovers from a photo and approves structural reuse.

Procurement

Checks before every order and reserves what is coming.

Management

Sees savings, tonnes diverted and forecast accuracy.
